7 things to get rid of

By berrysmotivation - July 20, 2017

Lots of junk in the trunk. Have you carried too much into the year and thinking of how to get rid of them. Life on its own comes with lots and the best way to have a fulfilled life is getting rid of most of these things.

1. Living for others. Live with an open heart, nothing external can have any power over you unless you permit it. Take charge of your life because it's yours and doesn't belong to anyone else, so do things you love not because of  people.

2. Blaming others. Get rid of the bitter taste of accusation. Don't try to blame others, it is time to take responsibility for your actions. The moment you acknowledge your mistakes and make amends, you would be able to make a way out of any mess or easily figure things out.

3. Depending on people to make you happy. The true source of happiness lies within you. Your default state of mind should be happiness. No one would make you as happy as you make yourself. You owe yourself happiness and if you don't make yourself happy, who will?

4. Self pity. It's time to embrace who you are and appreciate yourself a bit more. Too skinny or too fat? You are just perfect the way you are and where you see the need to take action for certain things like a better lifestyle, get started because self pity wouldn't get the work done.

5.Being too nosey. Mind your business as much as you want others to mind theirs. Unfortunately social media hasn't made this too easy. No point being extra nosey on what doesn't concern you. There is more peace in minding your own business.

6.Being a control freak. You can't control everything. Remember, there is no happiness in being right. Others have roles to play too. When you try to control everything you end up getting hurt a little too easy. Don't try to change others, it is a complete waste of time and effort.

7. Procrastination.  Procrastination  is easily played out.  When you think it, do it. Now is always the best time. Forget yesterday's challenges, ignore your worries about tomorrow and act NOW!
